What can you do about the adjustable receptacle sticking out?

Question:

We have installed on our helicopter:

MTHRA24HSA

MTHWFS

MTHTLC-3S

We are happy about the system, but it seems MTHTLC-3S is too high for our configuration since we needed to adjust receptacle MTHRA24HSA. The threaded part sticks out about 4mm, which seems too much. What do you think about the configuration?

The adjustable receptacle would also work with MTHTLC-2S or even MTHTLC-1S.

The biggest issue is that the adjustable receptacle sticks out.

With that in mind we suggest to use the MTHTLC-1S. You can use this stud with the adjustable receptacles for thicknesses of 0.508-8.128mm

That way your receptacle will be screwed in the most, and the threaded part won't stick out by much or even at all.
