What are TurnLock retainers used for?

TurnLock retainers are used to lock the quarter turn solution in position.
Each TurnLock quarter Turn series has it own TurnLock retainers.
These TurnLock retainers can come in different shapes according to your requirements.

Most of the TurnLock retainers are made in Stainless Steel.
Some of the TurnLock retainers are available in other materials.

There are 2 different kind of TurnLock retainers.
The first type of TurnLock retainer is used to secure the stud in the panel, thus preventing panel drop out when the quarter turn is not closed.
The second type of TurnLock retainer is only used in the HGR series.  Here the retainer is used to secure the grommet into place, allowing the stud to be installed.
