How to increase clamping force in a Turnlock Assembly?

In the MTH and HGR series, there exist adjustable receptacles.

These are the part numbers:

MTH-series:

MTHRA24S                                                       MTHRA24LWS

MTHRTFA24S                                                   MTHRTFABS

MTHRTA16A                                                     MTHRTA16S

HGR-series:

HGRRA33A                                                         HGRRAC33A

HGRRA33S                                                        HGRRAC33S

HGRRAE33A                                                      HGRRAEC33A

HGRRTFA33CS                                                 HGRRTFAC33CS

HGRRTFA33S                                                    HGRRTFAC33S

HGRRTA20A                                                      HGRRTA20S

HGRRTA32S                                                      HGRRTAEN20S

HGRRTAEN32S

The advantage with this receptacle is that you can put a higher pre-load on the fastener.

So dependant on the way you install it, you will have a different load/clamping force.

The Tension load though is the same.

This is when you pass the clamping force, the system compresses further and then you will hit a working load of 700N and a tensile strength of 1000N for stainless steel in the case of the MTH series.
